RULES

Rules for Nerf-/Dartsoftevents by the Swiss Dartsoftclub General

1. Don't be a dick. We are all nice to each other and treat each other with respect.

2. Ask people before you touch/use their equipment. If you borrow something, handle it with care.

3. If you have problems of any kind, you can talk to the admin team.

4. The instructions of the admins must be followed.

5. Please be sober during the events.

Events and Games

6. Always wear eye protection on the field (goggles, paintball mask, prescription glasses or similar). You will not play without them. Sunglasses are not permitted

6.1 Match your saftey equipment with your playstyle. If you engage at close distances a full face mask is reccomended

7. Be honest and raise your hand when you are hit. You may also shout "hit.

8. No blind fire, you must see where your blaster is aiming when firing.

9. At each event, the rules may vary. Specifics beats general.

10. Game modes are determined and organized by the admins/organizers. But you are welcome to make suggestions.

11. We are guests on the field and we would like to come back. Please behave accordingly.

12. Bang-bang rule. If you don't want to shoot someone from closeby, you can shout "Bang-Bang" instead. You must point a blaster ready to fire at the opponent, and not be more than 1m away from the opponent. Bang Bang counts as a hit.

13. Do not climb/jump on/over obstacles

14. Take your magazine out of the blaster when entering the designated safe zone.

15. Stay in bounds Blasters, ammo, meele and co.

16. Use safe equipment. Check with admins if unsure.

17. Only use foam projectiles (no paint, airsoft BBs, etc.)

18. Melee "weapons" and "grenades" must be approved by the admins.

19. Stay within the FPS limit.

20. Shortdarts, fulllengths, rival, vortex discs, .50 cal balls, ultra, etc. count as normal hits and can be deflected by shields.

21. Mega, mega XL, demolisher rockets cannot be deflected by shields and always count as hits.

22. Ricochets count as hits only with vortex discs.

23. Shields must not have sharp edges. Shields from 0.2m2 and upwards count as „large“. You may only use a manual springer with a large shield. With small shields, semi-automatic blasters may be used

24. Flashlights are only allowed in specific game modes. Make sure they are easy to remove.



Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion from the game and event.

a)Gear and Dresscode a Closed safety goggles are mandatory. Prescription glasses will not be accepted as safety goggles unless the eyes are protected from all directions.

b) Indoor shoes that do not leave marks in the gym must be worn

c) No uniforms/military clothing. Camouflage patterns are only permitted with bright colors. In case of uncertainty, the organization decides

d) Chestrigs, holsters, plate carriers or similar for carrying equipment are permitted, provided they comply with the dress code see point c)

e) Blasters must be recognizable as toys even from a distance. A clearly visible orange Tip on the muzzle is a must.

f) The General Shield Rules apply, unless otherwise stated by the organizer. Ammunition and FPS limit

g) The FPS limit is 200 fps +-10 fps. This corresponds to an energy of approx. 2.25 joules

h) All ammunition types should not exceed the joule limit

i) For the halfdarts we distinguish between darts for Flywheel Blaster and Springer- /HPA-/AE-Blaster. It will be announced at the event which are for which.

j) The function of darts remains as in point 22ff.

k) Flashlights are not permitted Other

l) The age limit is 16 years. From 14, you can also take part if accompanied by an adult. m) The organizers have the final say at the event
